Beef Brisket Recipes

Love beef brisket in Louisiana!

Everybody loves a beef brisket, but not everyone has tried a beef brisket that has been notched up Cajun style. Trust us when we tell you that this version of a beef brisket is the best! Once you make it, you can easily feed a group of 10 or more, and leftover beef brisket makes a really good sandwich for the next day.

You already know that there are many beef brisket recipes. What we are going to add to this is a way to spice it up Cajun style. After seasoning it correctly, you can apply any of your favorite beef brisket recipes or cooking methods. If you have a suggestion, will you email it to us?

"Beef Brisket- Cajun Style"

Ingredients:

  • a large (12 lbs. or so) beef brisket that is trimmed of most of its fat
  • 1 cup of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of liquid crab boil
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of Tabasco

Instructions:

  • Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Combine all of the other ingredients into a pot. Set heat to medium and stir for about 5 minutes.
  • Inject the beef brisket with the cajun injection sauce that you just made.
  • Place the brisket in a pan and cover it. Cook it for 3-4 hours.
  • Enjoy your beef brisket- Cajun style!
