Cajun Roast Recipes

"Cajun Roast"
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon of white pepper
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper
- 4 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 3 tablespoons of real butter
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup of chopped bell peppers
- 1/2 cup of chopped white onions
- 1/2 cups of chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- a nice sized boneless pork roast (around 4 lbs.)
Instructions:
- Place everything except for the roast in a skillet.
- Mix well and cook on high heat for around 5 minutes.
- Place the roast in a baking pan and make several large cuts into it.
- Stuff the roast with the vegetable mixture in each cut.
- Spread the remaining mixture over the entire roast.
- Bake at 300 degrees F. for about 3 hours.
