Cajun Restaurants In Baton Rouge
Juban's- Juban's is one of our favorite Cajun food restaurants in Red Stick. The place is a bit expensive, but what a great place to go to on a special occasion. Don't forget to try the gumbo!
Brunet's Cajun Restaurant- This Cajun eatery is not located around the busy tourist areas, so most visitors never find it. Do yourself a favor and head to Brunet's. It's very reasonably priced, the food is great, and you will get more than you can eat. Don't forget to try the crawfish etouffee!
Boutin's- We love Boutin's! This is the first place you should eat at in the Capital City. They have great Cajun food, a wonderful setting that makes you think you're in a swamp, and live Cajun music at night. Don't forget to try the boudin!
Drusilla's- What a great place for seafood. We love the atmosphere at Drusilla's. Good prices, large portions, and a broad menu. This may not be a true Cajun restaurant, but they have many Cajun dishes. Don't forget to try the stuffed mushrooms!
Mexican Restaurants In Baton Rouge
On The Border- On The Border is our favorite Mexican restaurant. We love to go here for birthdays. They have it all, and the prices are great. Don't forget to try the empanadas!
Ahuuas- Ahuuas is a hidden Mexican eatery located on Jones Creek. It's small, it doesn't have the greatest atmosphere, but the food is to die for! Don't forget to try the queso!
Superior Grill- Superior is probably the most popular Mexican restaurant in the Capital City. They have a very large night crowd that stays late for the bar. It's a little pricey, but the atmosphere really is great. Don't forget to try the fajitas!
Chinese Restaurants In Baton Rouge
PF Chang's China Bistro- PF Chang's is the bomb! It is by far our favorite Chinese eatery in the Capital City. If you're sick of Chinese buffets, give it a try. Don't forget to try the sweet chicken!
King Buffet- If you want a huge Chinese buffet, King is the place to go to. It is really huge! They have a lot of seafood and desserts as well. Don't forget to try the fried rice!
Hunan- Another great Chinese eatery that is not a buffet is Hunan. It can be a little pricey, but a trick is to share any entree. They give you too much food to begin with. Don't forget to try the sampler appetizer!
Fast Food Restaurants In Baton Rouge
Cane's- Our kids just love Cane's. This is a true B.R. success story as well. Cane's is very popular amongst the college crowd, and anyone else that has the "munchies". They do chicken strips, and they do them very well. Don't forget to try the Texas toast!
Back Yard Burgers- If you're sick of McDonald's or Burger King, head to Back Yard Burgers. They have a similar menu, but it's a little different. Don't forget to try the waffle fries!
